Questions? Let’s Talk Cookies.
Here are answers to some of the questions you might have before ordering from Mae Mae’s Morsels.
How do I order?
Mae Mae’s currently offers cookies through scheduled cookie drops. When a drop opens, you’ll be able to see the available flavors, quantities, ordering deadline and fulfillment information on our website.
Quantities may be limited, so ordering early is recommended.
What is a cookie drop?
Instead of maintaining a large inventory of cookies every day, I bake in small batches around scheduled ordering periods. A drop opens for ordering, customers choose their cookies, ordering closes, and then I get baking. This lets me plan production carefully and helps ensure you’re getting freshly baked Morsels.
Where are you located?
Mae Mae’s Morsels is based in Virginia Beach, Virginia.
Do you offer pickup?
Pickup locations and time windows will be announced during the ordering period for cookie drops.
Do you deliver?
We’re working on logistics now, and we hope to offer delivery soon.
Do you ship?
Just like with delivery, we’re working on logistics right now, but as soon as shipping is available, we’ll let you know!
Can I order cookies anytime?
During our initial launch, Mae Mae’s is operating primarily through scheduled drops rather than maintaining an always-open menu.
Joining The Morsels List is the easiest way to know when ordering opens.
Are all cookies available in every drop?
Menus may rotate, and seasonal or Test Kitchen flavors may occasionally join the lineup.
Our first drop features Ultimate Chocolate Chip, Brookie, Oatmeal Raisin, White Chocolate Macadamia and Chewy Pumpkin. Chewy Pumpkin holds our seasonal spot through Thanksgiving; Seriously Soft Molasses returns after Thanksgiving.
That’s part of the fun.
What is Mae Mae’s Test Kitchen?
It’s where I experiment. New ingredients, new flavor combinations and new cookie ideas are tested before I decide whether they’re ready to become official Morsels. Occasionally, Test Kitchen cookies may be offered in limited quantities so customers can help decide what happens next.
Do you accommodate food allergies?
Ingredient and allergen information is clearly marked on each cookie or cookie package. Do be aware that all cookies are made in a kitchen that may contain allergens such as nuts, wheat, eggs and other common allergens though I take every precaution to prevent cross-contamination. Questions? Contact me at hello@maemaesmorsels.com for more information.
Do you offer gluten-free, vegan or sugar-free cookies?
At this time, the core Mae Mae’s menu is not specifically formulated for these dietary needs. As the menu develops, any specialty offerings will be clearly identified.
How should I store my cookies?
If you can’t eat your cookie right away, which is highly recommended, take them out of the package and store them in an airtight, plastic container. If you have more than one kind of cookie, it’s best to keep them separate, or else the flavors will mix. They should easily last up to about 4 days with minimal changes to the flavor and texture. After about 4 days, you can simply pop your cookie into the microwave for about a quick 15 seconds, and then that will warm the cookie up and revive some of its texture.
Can I freeze Mae Mae’s cookies?
Yes, most of my available flavors right now freeze very well. In fact, if you want to maintain the freshness of your cookies long term (assuming, of course, they remain uneaten for that long), freezing is the best option to do so. Simply place the cookies (different flavors separate) into a zip-top freezer bag and place in the freezer. This will keep them fresh up to 3 months. Once you’re ready to eat them, take them out of the freezer, place them on the counter for a few minutes to let them thaw, and then they’re ready to eat.
Do you take large or corporate orders?
Mae Mae’s is developing options for meetings, employee appreciation, client gifts, celebrations and other larger orders.

Can Mae Mae’s provide individually wrapped cookies?
Certainly! Packaging options include:
- Single packaged cookies
- 3-pack sampler boxes
- 6-pack (of the same cookie)
- 12-pack (of the same cookie)
How far ahead should I order?
Regular cookie drops will have their own ordering deadlines. For larger orders and events, more lead time may be necessary. Contact us as early as possible so we can discuss what you need.
Can I suggest a flavor?
Absolutely! Some of the most interesting cookies start with “Have you ever thought about…?” Send your idea our way. I can’t promise it’ll become a Morsel, but it might just find its way into the Test Kitchen.
How do I find out about new drops?
